I've SURVIVED THE CAMP!
*clap clap*
Hahasssssss..
20.10.08The first day- we reported to school at the same time and then went to gather after the morning assembly. Then, we moved off to the camp site, which we called base camp. At first, i thought that it was very tiring, but then, at the later part of the day, it proved to be a great camp and i started giving my 100%.
Over at the camp, Encik briefed us and we were seperated to our groups, or rather, platoons. I was in
Platoon 2, with
Platoon Mentor Sarah as the
PM. Also, Song Boon, Hong Zheng, Ivan, Kai Bing, Joel, Yi Han, Jia Qi, Clarice, Nadiah, which came from 2e1,was in Platoon 2 too. The rest came from 2e2 and i dont know if there was any 2e3 de. :X

We painted our FACES!!!
AHH!!!
It was like, Ewwww~
We were not used to the paint, and it itches. Yucks. But i kept the paint on for about 2 or 3 hours. Nevertheless, it was a great experience too.
Then, we went for drills. Learnt a lot of drills. Dunno how to spell so not putting the name here. Hahas :/
We also went for trainings. Each of them has their own hidden meaning. And it was meaningful. We climbed the horizontal rock wall, and played the minefield, the contacted drill, the grenade and the incoming drill. each was fun in its own way. :)
Then, we went to the canteen and ate dunno lunch or dinner. Forgotten. Hahas.
After that, i think we went to bathe and we fall in-ed at the parade square. We were promoted from
RECRUITS to
PRIVATES! Hahas. It was damn solemn and each of us was given a bandana. Mine was blue. :)
Afterwards, we went to sleep. Hahas.
21.10.08The second day. We DID SUCCESS CLAPS FOR MORE THAN 1200 TIMES!. After that, we directly went for our mission. We started with
RECCE PATROL. It was long and we had to find our way from the base camp to
LABRODOR PARK. It wasnt so far for that, the long part was the
VICTORY MARCH! We walked from the
MARANG TRAIL up to
MOUNT FABER PARK to the
HENDERSON WAVES where we could see a birds eye view of southern Singapore then on to the
TREE TOP WALK,
HORT PARK and finally exiting at
BUKIT CHANDU to end up at our base camp. Platoon 2 WAS THE FIRST TO REACH! Ahahas :D
At night, each Platoon had to perform their cheer and a skit
(?). Platoon 2 was the first to perform.. Zzzz...
Then Lights off and we went to sleep...... ZzzzZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
22.10.08Last day- the seperation.
We woke up and fall in for a rehearsal for the graduation ceremony. It had finally been the end of the camp. Thought it was hard, it was fun too, and it will be hard to tidy up our feelings for a period of time. This camp had made me change a lot. But i think it wouldnt be noticeable to others. Hahas.
